The service and acceptable use
getunscrambler provides a letter-based word finder and educational material. Use the website lawfully, respect the rights of others, and follow the rules of any game, assessment, or competition in which you participate.
Do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security controls, introduce malicious code, or use automated requests in a way that harms other visitors. Do not use our name to imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.
Dictionary accuracy and game rules
Results depend on the bundled general English word list. Entries may be uncommon, historical, regional, or unsuitable for some audiences. We do not guarantee that every possible English word is included or that a result is valid in a particular game.
This version does not offer official game-dictionary selection, wildcard tiles, board-aware scoring, or guarantees of a winning move. Use the official rules and dictionary for any competitive or tournament decision.
The website and guides are provided as available, without guarantees of uninterrupted access or error-free results. To the extent allowed by applicable law, we do not provide warranties about fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Content, attribution, and trademarks
The site’s original guides and presentation belong to their respective rights holders. Do not reproduce substantial original material without permission, except where the law permits. Linking to the site is welcome.
The bundled an-array-of-english-words dictionary is distributed under its supplied MIT license. That license governs the word list; it does not automatically license the website’s other content. The license file is linked below.
Game names mentioned in our guides are trademarks of their respective owners. getunscrambler is independent and does not claim affiliation with or endorsement by those game publishers.
Advertising, external links, and privacy
The site includes Google advertising code and may display third-party advertising. An advertisement is not a recommendation or endorsement by us. External destinations have their own terms, privacy policies, and content.
Our Privacy Policy explains local word searches, email correspondence, hosting requests, fonts, and advertising data practices. Agreeing to these website terms is not consent to advertising cookies or personalized advertising.
