The site helps people explore words they can make from a set of letters. It is intended for vocabulary practice, puzzle exploration, and word games where outside assistance is permitted. The search stays simple: enter a rack, search, and refine the list only when you need to.

No account or subscription is needed. Searches are performed in your browser with a downloaded dictionary, so the letter rack is not sent to a word-solving API. The website also loads hosting, font, and advertising resources described in our Privacy Policy.

The bundled dictionary comes from an-array-of-english-words, version 2.0.0, a general English word-list package with Letterpress-derived vocabulary distributed under the MIT license. A copy of the supplied license is available below.

The list includes uncommon, regional, and historical vocabulary and may contain sensitive or offensive dictionary entries. A search result is not an endorsement of a word or a guarantee of its suitability for a particular audience. Adults should review results before using them in activities with children.
